I’ve been working as an IT consultant in Frankfurt for several years and am definitely a tech enthusiast—but at the same time, I’ve always felt most balanced when I’m outdoors and connected to nature. That contrast is important to me. While I enjoy solving complex problems in my job, I also really value honest physical work and being outside.

One of the best things I’ve done was walking the Camino de Santiago across Spain. Long-distance hiking helps me reset and reminds me how good it feels to move with purpose, meet people from different backgrounds, and live with less. I’ve also recently run a half-marathon in Zürich, so I’m used to physical challenges and staying active.

Spending time on a farm is something I’ve wanted to do for a long time. Helping with animals, working in the garden, or just being part of the day-to-day rhythm really appeals to me. I’m looking forward to learning new skills, pitching in wherever I’m needed, and living a bit closer to the land for a while.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I have a solid background in IT and can help with a wide range of tech-related tasks—from setting up websites or configuring home networks to building small Raspberry Pi projects.

Outside of tech, I really enjoy cooking and baking, especially baking different kinds of (sourdough) bread from scratch.

I also have some experience refurbishing old furniture—things like sanding, painting, and varnishing—as well as building small wooden shelves and storage racks.
