Description
As a full-time languages student, communication and identity and the connections between both motivate me deeply. I am very passionate in discussing how language can bridge barriers, and how differences in communication can help us learn more of other cultures, peoples and civilisations. Through my understanding of English, Welsh, Arabic and French, I hope to be able to help people in difficult situations, bringing an element of home to those who have been so unfortunate as to have lost them, and I always aim to help those in need, whether that be hands-on, or remotely, as I have done for the last two years, in tutoring the less fortunate to receive offers from top universities in the United Kingdom.

As a European and Middle Eastern Languages student, I have always had an interest in language learning. Doing a French and Arabic degree at Oxford has further enhanced my passion. Having lived in Jordan, I would love to partake in a Workaway Programme that would enhance my French oral skills as a learner to advance in my education and in my abilities to communicate in the Francophone world.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?
Having lived in Amman, Jordan for the last year, my communication skills have developed greatly, now speaking conversational formal Arabic as well as the Levantine dialect, increasing my languages to four: English (fluently), Welsh (fluently), French (intermediate) and Arabic (intermediate).
I have a long history in trying to give a helping hand to those in need. Experiences in education and tutoring include remotely tutoring students in subjects ranging from Law to English literature to French to receive offers from Oxford and Cambridge through the Zero Gravity platform, with a 100% rate proving a skill in leading people to successes.

Having been part of a mixed gender choir, I have always been interested in singing and the development of music in the twenty-first century. I am an avid reader, with interests in Old Welsh Poetry and Prose and modern French literature, and whilst my experience lacks, I would love to someday work for a charity in order to use my abilities to help those who are less fortunate.
