Hi! My name is Erin and I’m a 34 year old American living in France full time with a visa that allows me to work where ever I would like. I’m looking for somewhere beautiful and peaceful to do a work stay, preferably in a more natural setting. I can do shorter work stays like 3 weeks or longer ones like 3 months.

I love being in nature, gardening, cooking, being around animals, making new friends, biking, going for walks, and am always excited to learn a new skill! The most important thing for me in any environment where I’m staying is good vibes, kindness, and mutual respect.

I am a native English speaker and am around a B1 level in French.

I am a writer and would also be working on my own writing projects in my free time where ever I end up staying so I would need access to WiFi.

And it’s unfortunate that I even have to say this since it’s 2026 but it’s important to mention that I fundamentally believe in equal rights for all humans. ❤️

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I love gardening! I built and cared for my own garden from scratch by myself when I had one back when I lived in LA. I grew tomatoes, potatoes, tons of herbs, some squash, peppers, and strawberries.

I’m also a really solid cook! I’ve taught myself some of the more classic French recipes but for my day to day cooking I like to keep meals simple but delicious. In particular I’m great at making sauces, salmon, chicken, pork, roasted and pan fried veggies, etc. I am, however, not great at making desserts 😅 I also love making Asian dishes like udon soup, poke bowls, curry rice with veggies, and pearl cous cous dishes. I love learning new recipes and always look forward to any cooking challenge I get myself into!

While I’ve only ever had a dog as a pet (I do not have any pets currently), I am very comfortable around animals and love to interact with them.

I would also love to learn new skills, especially for things like home renovation.

Please note that there may be a rare occasion where I need to take a train into Paris for a quick overnight stay (1 or 2 nights maximum) for an administrative purpose. I travel by public transport and do not own a car, so if possible, I would need a ride to a bus stop or train station on rare occasions.
