Description

Hey! I’m Emma, 25 years old, from the north of France. Graduated from a master's degree in food and health and launched into adult life, I decided to listen to my little inner voice and leave my full-time job in France to follow my deepest aspirations: share experiences with people from everywhere, develop myself more as a human being, learn new and various skills, help out with projects that have a positive impact on people and the planet, and enjoy the world and its nature.

I don't want to work like those old pianos that were put in a straitjacket. There is music but no artist. I wish there was improvisation, renewal, and fantasy!

I have a wide range of experience: England as an au pair and farm worker, Philippines within an NGO, on a Christmas market, waitress in Austria, and lately as a multi-skilled organizer for a travel club in Andalusia. I also travel within the family home as a host family for refugees (mostly Afghans and Sudanese). I love meeting people, learning about new cultures, letting myself be impregnated and stripped by new ways of thinking and broaden my horizons!

I’m always ready to help out in busy environments. I am a very hard worker and I am open to everything!

According to my relatives, I am easy going : flexible, positive attitude and attentive to the well-being of those around me.

I've recently been training in meditation and breathing techniques for a holistic approach to well-being and health, which I'm happy to share with anyone interested.

I'm deeply sensitive to the refugee cause. I have experience in marauding, welcoming and exchanging with many people in exil.
I was also in charge of a nutrition project for socially vulnerable children within an NGO in the Philippines for 2 months.

-Helping with children
I come from a big family and am therefore used to a noisy, happy, full house! I also have good experience with children through siblings of my own (including 3 in the middle of a teen crisis...), as well as various work placements (from au pair in UK to NGO in Philippines) - but I am also competent to take care of the elderly.

-Planning and cooking meals (including for specific needs)
According to my master’s degree in food and health!

-Working on Hostel & Restaurant
I have worked in a restaurant and festivals in London.
I have good social skills, am very dynamic and really enjoyed to create a good atmosphere for the clients and guests I met.

-Teaching French
I can teach French from the testimony of my little guests from all over the world.

-Doing manual labor
As a teenager, I've done various summer jobs including harvest in UK, factory work in France. Hard work is not a problem for me!
Although I love being outdoors in nature, I can always give a helping hand around the house too. I’m quick to adapt to new environments and pick up skills… Consider that I am “all-terrain”!

-Helping with daily chores

Some of my hobbies/points of interests:

As a French girl, I'm a big foodie : Sometimes it's a failure but I truly like cooking and sharing delicious, balanced and spicy (for the more adventurous) stuff with people I love.

I love to dance and go every day for a walk!
I also would love to be more involved with mindfulness, breathing techniques and nature.

I love pretty much anything outdoors: hiking, cycling, or just stop and contemplate the nature and much more!

I love to discover new music from all over the world and also share!

Philosopic topics: please note that I have not yet resolve any major conflict in the world or even internal conflicts but it will be a pleasure to discuss and share our points of view!

Sustainability is something I'd love to learn more about, especially in relation to travel.
