Hello, I’m Emmanuel from Sweden, my deep appreciation for nature, food, and music fuels my desire to explore and learn through Workaway. I want to see the world but to do so in a sustainable and positive way. I’m a hard worker and a quick and eager learner who is no stranger to a simple standard of living. Projects that have a focus on bringing new life to old things or alternative and sustainable lifestyles are my kind of jam!
A university graduate in theoretical physics, I bring resilience, adaptability, and a genuine enthusiasm for collaborative efforts. I’m excited to share my skills, learn new ones, and create lasting memories together.
I’m an adventurer who seeks remote places, new connections, and valuable experiences. I’m drawn to explore the beauty of natural and wild landscapes, through hiking and running to climbing and kayaking. And nothing beats wrapping up the day by the campfire, tunes playing, friends around, and life just being awesome.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?
Farm work is very near to my heart. I find my stride in hands-on tasks, construction and renovation projects, gardening and taking care of animals. I love working physically and being active. A well-cultivated passion of mine is gardening and having grown all kinds of vegetables in my own garden, I know my way around one. Through workaway I’ve also had the experience of helping out in other people’s gardens and learning from them. Besides nurturing plants, I have a good hand with animals from growing up with dogs, cats, rabbits and horses.
Beyond physical tasks, I’m a problem solver who relishes research, analysis, and innovative solutions. Teaching and mentoring come naturally to me—I’ve taught programming at my university and organized survival courses for high school students. While studying I also wrote software for the university’s robotlab.
My café and bakery experience, coupled with a flair for cooking nourishing meals, adds another layer to my versatility.

I’ve taken a plunge into survival, hunting, fishing—these challenges have taught me resilience, not to mention diving deep into the art of traditional food preservation. I’ve also had my share of crafting, including making my own winter gear from reindeer furs using traditional tanning techniques, hand-sewing and local resources.
