Hello! I’m Emilija from Lithuania 🌿

I’m currently working full-time as a barber, but this January I’m taking three weeks off to have a unique volunteering experience — something meaningful and memorable, rather than just a regular vacation.

I love discovering new places, meeting people from different cultures, and learning through real experiences. That’s why I joined the Workaway community — to connect, contribute, and create stories worth remembering.

A few years ago, I volunteered through Workaway and absolutely loved it, that's why I decided to do it once again.

I’m a hardworking and motivated person who enjoys learning new things and staying active. I love spending time outdoors, cooking, and taking care of plants. I also adore kids and animals — if you have any, you can be sure I’ll treat them with love and care.

I truly appreciate anyone who opens their home to me, and I always make sure to respect that kindness by keeping things clean, helping with housework, and being a considerate guest.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I have a wide range of hands-on experience — I’ve worked as a waitress, bartender and housekeeper, as well I've spent some time gardening and making flower bouquets. Later I worked as a receptionist and now I’m a barber.
In my free time I enjoy creating ceramics, trying all kinds of arts, doing yoga or going on hikes. I’m practical, creative, and not afraid of hard work — always happy to learn and help wherever needed.
