Description

We both love to see the world and have traveled a lot together. This summer and fall we've been travelling mainly through eastern Europe. We both also love music, Sam plays the bass and guitar and Ella has played the drums. :)

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

We have both worked various jobs. We both have done our university degrees in English. Like most of Finnish people, our families have cottages in the countryside, where we both have spent a lot of time so we're familiar with living in the woods and the tasks that come with it.

Samuli:
Having studied in the Netherlands, I have a background in European culture and politics. My work experience is diverse, ranging from construction sites to logistics, including warehouse and terminal operations. I'm particularly fond of physical work and outdoor tasks. I've also had the opportunity to work with children through after-school clubs, summer camps and my involvement with the Boy Scouts. Additionally, I have some hands-on experience in farming and gardening. I'm skilled at clearing overgrown areas and cutting trees using a chainsaw. My one-year military service, combined with years of experience in the Boy-Scouts, has honed my practical skills and resourcefulness in rural and forest settings. In consider myself capable in a wide range of general tasks. I also enjoy cooking immensely!

Ella:
I have a degree in sustainability and I'm interested in all environmental and eco projects. I have worked as a cleaner at different properties and, like Sam, I have worked with children as an afternoon club teacher. I love animals (especially cats as I grew up with two), gardening and art. We had an urban garden in Helsinki, where we grew some of our own vegetables (with moderate success :) ).

Samuli:
I enjoy playing both the guitar and electric bass. Additionally, I have a passion for a wide variety of board and card games, always eager to try new ones. I also love cooking and enjoy discovering new recipes, cooking techniques, and kitchen environments.

Ella:
I like all kinds of art projects and handicrafts from painting to knitting to pottery. Lately I've been trying to also learn programming.

We both also love hiking and have dabbled in hobbies like bouldering, table tennis and salsa.
