Hello, my name is Eliot and I'm 20 years old. I currently live in Paris, but I'm not originally from there. In fact, I come from a small village in the south of France, called Banyuls sur mer (https://fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Banyuls-sur-Mer). I lived there until I was 18. At the end of my summer 2022, after spending 1 month in the United States on a workaway in Newport, Rhode Island, the results for university came in. I fell several stories and learned that none of my applications had been accepted, even though I was a very good student. Many complications followed, but I finally landed in Germany in September 2022. I lived there for 7 months, learning German before returning for the summer. Today, I'm at the University of Paris8 until December 2024. I'm currently doing a double degree in political science/history. I love going out in the evenings, but my studies don't allow me to anymore. I study a lot because my curriculum is complicated and selective... I've been traveling since I was a child, first with my family, then on my own or with friends. I like sports, meeting people, history and geopolitics. I'm at ease with children, as I have 2 little brothers.

Today, there are many reasons why I want to workaway for the month of July 2024. Firstly, I really enjoyed my first stay in the United States, it's so different from France and I love the change of life, the culture, the people, absolutely everything. The second reason is that I'm looking to meet new people, I love meeting new people and discovering people's lives. Finally, I'm looking to improve my English because I'd like to do my Masters in Political Science abroad, in Canada, the Netherlands or the United States. I look forward to receiving your reply.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I am able to do some physical tasks, take care of children, cook. I have taken care of my 2 little brothers. I have an B1 level in English, it's not bad but I could improve a lot. If you have specific tasks to propose to me let me know, I would be delighted if you could teach me how to do them and then I will manage on my own. I am also quite autonomous but I like human contact a lot
