we're on our journey through Southeast Asia (now in Thailand) and we are looking to share experiences and take part in projects and do new experience.

Description

Hi! We’re Elena and Maeva, two best friends from Italy, both 19 years old, we begin a one-year journey through Asia. We decided to take a gap year to explore a culture completely different from our own — not just by visiting places, but by truly living them from the inside.
We’ve already spent some time in Thailand and completely fell in love with the simple beauty of its nature and the depth of its culture. That trip only made us more curious, more open, and even more eager to keep learning. Our plan is to travel through Thailand, Cambodia, Laos,Vietnam and Indonesia — but we’re open to anything. We don’t have a strict itinerary, just open hearts and a real hunger for culture.
We’re a grounded, balanced and hardworking team:
🌿 Elena is calm, creative and observant. She studied set design and photography, and works with both digital and analog cameras. She’s passionate about animals, especially horses, and brings empathy to everything she does.
🌱 Maeva is outgoing, adventurous . She’s been drawing and started painting, and dreams of turning her love for art into something bigger.
Together, we share a deep love for art as a universal language — whether through photography, painting, or simple storytelling.
We’re used to long work hours and quick adaptation thanks to our past jobs in hospitality: restaurants, kitchens, and working with children. We’ve both volunteered in youth projects back home.
Whether it’s helping with daily tasks, caring for children or animals, joining creative projects or learning new skills, we’re always ready to listen, learn and contribute with our hands and our hearts.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

We’ve both worked in public-facing roles and are active volunteers with projects focused on children and social inclusion. We have both separately worked in hospitality and catering in different environments .
We love being hands-on and are always ready to learn and adapt.
Some of our skills include:
-Supporting educational and creative activities with children
-Artistic and manual skills (painting, crafts, visual art) and Photography
-help in the kitchen and welcome
-Communication and hosting
-Animal care (especially horses – Elena has experience)
-Photography
-Adaptability and positive energy
