Hey, I’m Ed.

I grew up on farms, worked in mines, and spent years around heavy machinery — so I’m no stranger to physical work, long days, or getting my hands dirty. I enjoy the rhythm of working with the land, building things, and being useful wherever I can.

I’ve been travelling for about 10 years now, though I got happily “stuck” in New Zealand for a good stretch — drawn in by the mountains, the people, and the lifestyle.

These days, I’m not just chasing work — I’m looking for connection, new ways of living, and skills I haven’t had the chance to learn yet. Whether it’s gardening, building, cooking, or just lending a hand where it’s needed, I’m keen to get stuck in, learn as I go, and contribute to something worthwhile.

I’ve recently started making (loosely defined) jewelry from pebbles I’ve collected on my adventures — each piece a small memento of the places I’ve been. I also love getting together with people for a good board game night, whether it’s a lighthearted round of something silly or a strategy battle that goes on for hours.
