Description
Hi! I’m Edwin, an adventurous backpacker from the Netherlands, and for the past three years I’ve been exploring the world while volunteering and learning new skills along the way. I’ve taught English in Morocco, guided motorcycle lessons in Vietnam, worked with wildlife and dog rescues, and contributed to permaculture and bio-farms across Europe and Australia. I’m a former graphic designer, a 3D artist in game development and a hobby handyman, so I love hands-on projects, woodworking, and learning anything that helps me build and create.

I’m passionate about sustainable living, connecting with nature, and learning practical skills I can one day put into practice on my own self-sustaining piece of land. I’m excited to meet like-minded, adventurous people, share knowledge, and contribute to meaningful projects while on my travels.

Edwin And Cecile were a wonderful couple to have at the hostel for 3 weeks. They were always so positive and happy to help whenever we needed. Edwin was excellent at helping us upgrade some of our posters and offering help with clever online tasks that we couldn't do. They were a joy to host and we hope to see them again one day!

We've had an incredible time at the Hostel. We were planning to stay for three weeks, but our plans changed, and we ended up staying a little longer.

This place was a magical experience with great plans for the future. There is a good sense of community amongst the volunteers and the animals improve this even more with their amazing personalities (even Pili the goose!).
