Description

As a filmmaker being based in Berlin I enjoy the creative melting pot I live in and at the same time I escape vibrant city life as much as I can. I feel most energized by spending time in nature, living by it's rhythm and enjoying the simple and most rewarding pleasures that come with seeing the fruits of your own hands' work.

My biggest love is the writing and making of films. The thing I enjoy most about this work is to be in a team of inspiring and committed people and to be carving an idea together until it takes it's individual shape and is eventually translated into a visual narrative. As this work includes a lot of work with your head, I usually can't wait to get my hands dirty in my free time, doing physical work and being outdoors.

Apart from this I'd say that cooking and eating are my favorite hobbies :) I love hiking and being close to the water, I enjoy the company of people, like to listen to their stories and thoughts and I'm a big animal lover – amongst which dogs make my heart melt the fastest.

I love picking up new languages. I used to study in France so I was very fluent some years back. As I didn't practice my French for a while, it became somewhat rusty. I'm fluent in English and German is my mother tongue. I would love to learn more Italien, but I also love the sound of Portuguese, Greek and Arabic.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I'm a person that likes to take initiative and I usually have a structured approach to things that need to be done. I handle things with care for details and a sense of responsibility. I'm very enthusiastic about learning new skills. I don't have any particular expertise with gardening or building – except for my intense devotion to the urban plant jungle in my apartment :) I used to give German classes to refugees, so I'm familiar with working as a teacher. I studied creative writing and worked as an editor for an independent literary magazine, so everything that touches the field of narrative and language, that's where I feel most experienced in. And of course, I'm making films and I'm happy to share everything I learnt about it.
