Description

Hello! My name is Emily and I am here on a Working Holiday Visa from the United States. I am naturally very curious and open-minded, and I can find joy in even the toughest situations. I love being outdoors and being active for the majority of my days, whether that's going to the beach, going on hikes, riding my bike, or walking for leisure. I also love animals, kids, plants, bugs, etc. (really anything that I can learn about). I am keen on living an Australian lifestyle, where I can learn skills in gardening, farm life, and implementing sustainable approaches to living.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I am someone who puts my heart into whatever I do. I am caring, warm, and very patient. I have worked with children and adults who have differing needs and abilities, and I am an aunt to three rambunctious nephews.

I love learning about different cultures, which is part of why I came to Australia! I would love to learn Spanish or German, so a host who can provide that is a plus!

I have experience working with animals, as well. I have worked with cats and owned dogs of all ages, breeds, and aggression levels. I am interested in working with farm/exotic animals, as I don't have a background with them. Cleaning, maintaining, and feeding animals doesn't bother me at all.

I LOVE bugs and snakes. That being said, I have a green thumb and working in the garden/bush is something I am looking forward to. I also want to gain experience with hands-on work, as I am not afraid of getting dirty.

I want to get into more serious hiking and would love to talk to others about their advice/experience and try out some gear if they have any.

I am looking to fulfill my 88-day visa requirements, so I would love to stay longer if the location/work/host are eligible and the right fit for me.
