Greetings!
My name is Duncan. I am 23 years old, and currently residing in New Zealand after my 3 years travelling abroad . I am born and raised in New Zealand in the Tasman region in a small town called Takaka.
I’m an outdoor person. I’m curious and friendly and love learning about the world, culture, and language.
I am a passionate backpacker / bike packer and I love hearing and telling stories about travelling.
My hobbies include classical piano, outdoor activities such as road cycling and mountain biking. I enjoy seeing friends and going to events. I love learning about anything and everything and I can say that I’ve learned good skills amongst my travels over the past few years. -

Quelles sont vos compétences ?
I’ve worked most of my time as an urban and rural gardener. Then I’ve done lots of different trades including building, painting, general maintenance and I’ve spent many years working in hospitality.
Growing up in a small town I am a community person, and I developed skills in sustainable living and caring for nature. I come from a big family with lots of brothers and animals and really appreciate family time and doing things together.
In a previous year I managed my own tree nursery, from this I learnt about tree care and developed comprehensive NZ native tree knowledge.
My time overseas greatly developed my social skills, and my ability to communicate effectively and get along with everyone from every walk of life.
I am very good with kids and teenagers of all ages, I worked in Ghana as a primary school teacher and in Spain as a surf instructor. In these environments I learnt how to think on my feet and developed the ability to lead and instruct big groups. -

They welcomed me so nicely with good accomidation in there warm home, yum food, lovely company. I did a variety of jobs, where I could learn, and build some muscle in the process:) I highly recommend a stay!
To bad you only stayed for one week.
