Description
Hi! I’m Dione, I’m a traveler from New Zealand with a big heart for people, animals, and the outdoors. My background is a mix of Samoan and Chinese heritage, which has shaped my love for big family meals, storytelling, and cultural exchange.
I’m a designer by trade, so I have a keen eye for detail and aesthetics. However, I’m just as happy with a shovel in the garden or a whisk in the kitchen as I am behind a screen. I’m travelling to connect with new people, learn from different ways of life, and give back to the communities I visit.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?
Animal Care & Companionship: I have a lifelong love for animals and have cared for a huge variety of pets, including cats, bunnies, fish, and even a pet dove. I am very comfortable with animals and happy to help with feeding, cleaning, or just giving them some attention.
High-Energy Childcare: I used to work in a trampoline park, so I am very experienced in keeping kids entertained while ensuring they stay safe and follow the rules. I’m happy to help with childcare, games, or active play.
Creative Crafts & Design: I am a designer by trade, but I also love tactile crafts like knitting and bookbinding. I’d love to share these hobbies with you or help with any creative projects around the house.
Cooking & Baking: My Samoan and Chinese heritage means I’ve grown up around big family meals. I love to bake and cook, and I am always happy to prepare food for everyone to enjoy.
Outdoor Help: While I’m not a professional gardener, I truly enjoy being outdoors and don't mind getting my hands dirty. I’m happy to help with weeding, planting, or any general yard work you need help with.
Languages: I am a native English speaker and would love to help you or your family practice conversational English. I am also very keen to learn Mandarin and would appreciate any chance to practice the basics with you!

Beyond my creative side and heritage, I’m a total bookworm and a lifelong "water person" who is at my happiest swimming in the ocean. I love a good cup of tea and am always eager to learn the local traditions and stories of the areas I visit. Dancing has always been a part of my life - I have a background in ballet, contemporary, and hip-hop, and Samoan Siva. When the day is done, I’m always up for a board game or a card game to connect and share a few laughs!
