Description

Hi there, my name is Desiree. I am currently going to my 3rd year of my landscape design study. Next year I will have to do an internship for 20 weeks from February. I would like to do this internship through Workaway to learn more about sustainable land management and I would also like to learn more about the agricultural world and gain a better (practical) insight into this.

I would describe myself as a happy and open-minded person and I appreciate the little things in life. I love learning new things and I'm interested in discovering new cultures/lifestyles.
In my free time I enjoy sitting behind my piano, guitar or behind my desk to make drawings. I also really enjoy being in nature and I just love being on the go, whether its on my bike, roller blades or in my car singing very bad with music :)

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I personally don't have that many (practical) skills, but I am very eager to learn anything :)

I have worked 5 years in elderly care though as a hostess during the summer months, this means cooking meals, cleaning, going for walks, playing piano for the residents and just getting paid to chat with people ;)
I'm also almost 2 years in, working at my local community center which is also a restaurant so im not afraid of getting my hands dirty (having my hands covered in beer, food scraps and grease on a weekly basis).
As second job I am a driver and I 'deliver' cars to people, dealerships and garages, you could say that I enjoy being behind the wheel haha. These are mostly new cars or rental cars of all different sizes and prices.
Last but not least I have worked in a supermarket for 3 years when I was 15 till 18 years old, I worked behind the register, filled the stocks and mainly worked in the bakery.
