Description

Hey, my name is Leonie, I’m 19 and coming from Germany. May 2024 I completed my German Abitur (high school diploma), so I thought it would be a good time to travel before going to the university. It has always been my big dream to travel as much as I can, and to fulfill this dream I will travel across Japan for one year. To gather some experience from a complete different culture and just enjoy the time traveling.

In july 2024 I went to Sapporo and was in an language school for 3 month. Since november I'm in Fukuoka for an 3 month long Internship at an bilinguale Nursery and Preschool.

About my working experience, I've worked along my Abitur to earn some money and gather some experience. So far, I've worked in a bakery for several months and I've also been taking dogs out for around 2 years when I was in school. Besides that I've done an internship at a kindergarten and a hotel.
And at the momemt I'm donig an internship at a Nursery/Preschool in Fukuoka for around 3 month.

I love learning new things and I am able to adapt to many different situations. I can work inside and also outside, i don't mind getting my hands dirty and do physical work.

In my free time I go horse riding, playing volleyball as well as doing kenjutsu. Every day after school I go on a walk because I love the nature and enjoy the time after a stressful day. I also love hiking and learning something new about the culture of the places I have been. The rest of my time I use for reading or watching movies with friends.

Last year, I traveled to Japan for 4 weeks and visited a language school there, it was super fun. I had many new experiences and learned much about the local culture because I lived in a host family, that's why I'm now looking to experiences more about the "real" japanese life.
