Hi! My name is Delsia, but everyone calls me Del 😊. I am a passionate traveler, deeply interested in cultures, flavors, and human connections. I have traveled to over 18 countries, and in each one, I strive to learn, share, and leave a positive impact.

I have a background in computer science, robotics, and digital technologies, as well as in performing arts; I also greatly enjoy music. I am the creator of SouthAmericanDelights (https://www.instagram.com/southamericandelights/), a project that celebrates South American gastronomy and culture.

In addition to volunteering in hostels as a cook, housekeeper, and receptionist, I have also worked as a computer and language teacher, teaching Spanish and Portuguese, and as a city tour guide, sharing local culture, stories, and practical tips with travelers. I have also gained experience as a cook and kitchen assistant in Sweden, Poland, Germany, and Croatia.

I consider myself respectful, kind, and proactive, always eager to learn. I am adaptable, enjoy working with others, and value teamwork and collaboration. I love learning about new cultures, practicing languages, connecting with people from all over the world, and experiencing authentic life.

Workaway is a wonderful way to grow, share my skills, and learn from others. I am open to all kinds of projects—rural, urban, ecological, social, or cultural. What matters most to me is contributing, learning, and being part of a meaningful community, even for a short time.
