Description

Hey, I’m David from the Czech Republic. I enjoy traveling, photography, vlogging, music, adventure, cooking, hiking and I’m also a post-apocalyptic nerd.

Generally, I'm a guy with a sense of humor, friendly, funny, creative, honest, optimistic, respectful, tidy and kind. I also have a strong will and good discipline. I’m interested in healthy lifestyle, mindfulness and love connecting with open-minded people.

I’m currently on an exciting journey to learn Japanese in preparation for my upcoming adventure in Japan on a working holiday visa. Learning is at the heart of everything I do. Alongside learning Japanese, I’m continuously improving my photography skills. Capturing moments and telling stories through my lens is something I deeply enjoy. Recently, I’ve also ventured into the world of videography, striving to bring dynamic stories to life through motion.

I enjoy traveling and find it enriching to connect with locals and fellow travelers from around the world.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I have a strong background in hospitality, photography and social media management. I studied hospitality, focusing on hotel management, hospitality and tourism. I’ve worked as a waiter in some of the most interesting restaurants in Prague, including the city’s largest and most famous pub. I also spent several years working as a waiter for Hilton Hotel in Prague, gaining invaluable experience in high-end service. Recently, I worked as a housekeeper in Tokyo for a month, which gave me insight into the standards and practices in Japan.

In addition to my work in hospitality, I have several years of experience as a model builder for LEGO. One of my proudest achievements was building the Sakura tree for LEGOLAND Japan in Nagoya, which is featured in the Guinness World Records book.

I am also a passionate photographer, traveling with a full set of professional gear, including a Sony a7c II camera, lenses, a drone and more. I offer my photography services and I’ve started doing video projects, so I’m open to lighter video work as well. Additionally, I am skilled in managing social media accounts, such as Facebook, Instagram and YouTube and can help create engaging content.

Beyond hospitality and media, I spent three years living and working in New Zealand, where I gained a diverse set of skills. I worked in agriculture, primarily in farming and harvesting, at tree nurseries, cherry orchards, blueberry orchards, vineyards and kiwi orchards. For three consecutive years, I was recognized as the best blueberry and cherry picker, demonstrating my proficiency in these roles. My experience ranges from planting and pruning to harvesting and packaging. I also gained logistical and organizational skills through warehouse work.

Thanks to my time in New Zealand, my English is at a high level and I am comfortable communicating in English in both professional and casual settings. Overall, I am adaptable, hardworking and eager to learn and take on new challenges.
