Hey there :)

soooo, what can I tell about me?
I’m Dana a 32-year old person, who lives in a very nice communal place in a small village close to Freiburg. I love this place here. It is an old factory that we use as a shared flat where we sometimes host non-profit events like concerts, party’s, theatres or jam sessions. The first time I came here I was so stunned and I thought “if I have to move in Freiburg again, I want to live here!!”. So now I'm sitting here, four metres up on my platform—my room—writing this.
Why am I telling this? I guess, because a big part of my life happens here and it might give you a bit of an impression of me. There are nine of us here, a lot of things happening all the time, so you need to be quite sociable person without too much need for privacy to “survive” here :P A lot of my friend come here and say “wow, this place is crazy, I love it, but….I could never live here” :D
Well, I’m so happy at this place. I have my little workshop where I can do pottery, my flatmates play music, so I take out my blues harp more frequently, the people I live with are like family and doors are always open, the kitchen is big and has a kitchen island so you often see me cooking on my inline-skates (that I probably wear more often than my shoes), doing rounds in the kitchen….Yep…. I love it here! :)

I really enjoy learning languages and being able to communicate with people. I love every occasion I can speak spanish or practice italian. At the moment I’m learning french - at least every few week whenever babbel is annoying me with too many “don”t give up”-messages :P

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I did some farm work before, but there is still a lot I can learn and I am curious about . Right now I am helping a friend with the harvest of olives, which I really like. And before I stayed at another friends place to collect walnuts. Well, I guess good company is the key element for having a good time while working.
Skills...hmm... what skills do I have? I'd rather put it like 'what I like doing' ;-)
I really enjoy inline-skating, right now I am actually trying to learn some new skills and tricks. I am also practising the harmonica, well I am a beginner, but what I know so far I am happy to share. Apart from that I do pottery and I really love food, so I also like cooking.

  I am vegetarian and in my daily life at home trying not to consume so many milk products and eggs. Anyhow, I am not super strict and well, right now I am in Italy... I guess being vegan is almost not possible 😀
