Hi! I’m Dana, a curious and dynamic person always ready to face new challenges.
Over the years, I’ve had the opportunity to try my hand at various professional fields because I love learning and pushing myself to grow. I am determined, precise, and I put my full commitment into everything I do. I have experience in several areas: hospitality (both in the kitchen and at the bar), cleaning (industrial, office, and private homes), and also in design and social media management. In all of these fields, I’ve learned to be versatile and to adapt quickly, using my ability to learn fast.
My passions revolve around everything that is hands-on and artistic, but nature is my true love. I enjoy spending my time immersed in nature, whether it’s taking a walk in the woods or hiking for hours in the mountains. For me, being outdoors is a source of inspiration and well-being.
I joined Workaway because I believe it’s a unique platform to learn about new cultures, enrich your knowledge, and connect with people from all around the world. I think that, as social animals, we need to stay in constant contact with others to grow and learn. The more we engage with different people, the more we discover, and I think sharing our lives and experiences is a beautiful thing.
This experience will help me improve my communication skills, discover new places, learn new things, and most importantly, grow as a person. I’d love to share my knowledge and contribute to the community while also learning from every new experience.
One of my most impactful experiences was a year I spent in Australia, where I traveled alone and had to reinvent myself completely. It wasn’t a volunteering experience, but it was an opportunity to learn about life, work, and myself in a completely new environment. Since then, I’ve returned with a broader perspective on life and people, and I want to continue traveling, learning, and facing the challenges that life offers. For me, every new experience is an opportunity for growth and discovery, and I can’t wait to start this new chapter with Workaway!

Yes, I’m definitely interested in continuing to improve my English and also in learning Spanish. I’ve been working on my English for some time now, and I’d love to continue improving my fluency, especially in everyday conversations. I find language learning to be a rewarding challenge, and I’m excited about the opportunity to practice and refine my skills with native speakers. Additionally, I’m very eager to start learning Spanish. I believe that speaking multiple languages not only opens doors to new cultures but also allows me to connect with more people around the world. I’m motivated to immerse myself in Spanish-speaking environments and learn the language through practical use and interaction.

I have a diverse set of skills and experiences that allow me to be adaptable and contribute effectively in many different environments. I am a fast learner, highly determined, and always ready to put in the effort needed to get the job done well.
In terms of work experience, I have a strong background in hospitality, having worked in both kitchens and bars. This has given me the ability to manage time effectively, work well under pressure, and collaborate with others in a fast-paced environment.
I also have extensive experience in cleaning, having worked in various settings including industrial cleaning, office cleaning, and maintaining private homes. I take pride in paying attention to detail and ensuring that every task is completed thoroughly.
In addition, I have professional experience in office environments where I worked as a designer and graphic artist, and I also managed social media for different projects. These roles have helped me develop strong creative skills, attention to detail, and proficiency with design software.
Overall, I bring a combination of practical, creative, and organizational skills that make me a versatile and reliable worker. I’m always eager to learn new things and expand my knowledge, and I’m confident I can adapt to whatever tasks are needed.

I would describe myself as a versatile and artistic person with a wide range of interests. I enjoy working with my hands and love to build things, which allows me to express my creativity in a tangible way. I also know how to play chess, which I find intellectually stimulating, and I’m a fan of board games in general—they’re a fun way to connect with others and challenge myself.
Music is another important part of my life. I truly need it, just like I need to be immersed in nature. Both music and the outdoors help me feel grounded and inspired.
I would say that I’m a bit shy when I first meet people and I need some time to feel comfortable and make connections. However, once I warm up, I’m far from introverted! I enjoy meaningful conversations and building relationships, and I believe in the importance of taking my time to get to know others.
