Hi! We are two friends of 12 years, both university students from the Czech Republic. We’re planning to travel together to discover new places, meet kind hosts, and help out wherever we can. We’re friendly, respectful, and excited to exchange experiences with people from different backgrounds.

👋 I’m Magdaléna, a 23-year-old student of Speech and Language Therapy. I’m empathetic, responsible, and organized. I enjoy working with people but also value calm moments on my own. Through my studies and part-time jobs, I’ve gained experience in working with children, communicating with people of all ages, and adapting to new situations.
Outside of work, I love hiking, traveling, reading, swimming, crafting, and spending time with loved ones. I also enjoy music festivals and exploring other cultures and traditions. I’m curious, open-minded, and always ready to learn something new.

👋 I’m Darja, I'm 23 years old, currently studying Special Education (specialization Speech Therapy). I love working with children, and over the past few years, it’s become a big part of my life. I’ve been working at a primary school, supporting children with different mother tongues as they adapt to a new language and classroom. I also help organize children’s summer camps, and I volunteer with a family who has a young autistic boy.
Alongside my studies, I’ve worked in a gardening center, a culinary studio, and as a receptionist in a Thai massage salon. I enjoy art, playing guitar, going on walks or short trips with friends, and sharing good food and conversations.

We’re both motivated to be kind, helpful guests, and we look forward to meaningful exchanges, new perspectives, and hands-on learning wherever we go!

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

Between the two of us, we bring a variety of experiences and are always happy to help wherever we’re needed — whether with children, household tasks, or trying something new. We're responsible, adaptable, and motivated to learn.

Childcare & Education
We both study Speech and Language Therapy and have worked with children in different settings — including schools, kindergartens, tutoring, summer camps, and volunteering with families. We’re patient, creative, and used to adapting our approach to fit individual needs and personalities.

Cleaning & Household Tasks
We’re experienced in household help and cleaning. Darja has cleaned private flats, Magdaléna has helped with daily upkeep in homes and workplaces. We’re tidy, reliable, and like to keep shared spaces clean and welcoming.

Gardening & Outdoor Work
Darja worked in a gardening center, caring for plants and maintaining outdoor spaces. We’re both comfortable with light outdoor tasks and enjoy spending time in nature.

Hospitality & Reception
Magdaléna has experience in hospitality and reception, including managing guest services, check-ins, payments, and reservations. She also worked at a teahouse as waitress. Darja worked in a culinary studio, where she helped prepare food, welcome guests, and clean during courses. We both enjoy creating a warm and respectful environment for others.

Animal Care
We are both comfortable around animals and can help with daily care tasks. We're both gentle, observant, and respectful of animals' needs and routines.

Creative & Practical Skills
We both enjoy creative activities like drawing, painting, crafts, and pottery. Darja plays guitar and has taken art lessons. We’re happy to join or support creative activities — especially with children — and we enjoy practical hands-on tasks.

Languages & Communication
We both speak English (B2) and Czech (native). Magdaléna also speaks basic French (A1), and Darja has studied German and some Italian.
Fun fact: We both studied Latin and Ancient Greek in high school — we may not use them every day, but it definitely sparked our interest in language and culture!

We’re comfortable communicating with people from different backgrounds and always try to be kind, clear, and respectful.
