Description

Hi I’m Cyd, I’m taking a break from my role as a Midwife to spend some time/maybe forever in South America.
I’ll be starting in Brasil and plan on working though out my stay whilst learning Brasilian Portuguese and enjoying the beautiful culture.
I also have some ability to speak, read and understand Spanish but at a beginners level.
I also have charity work experience in the UK and am passionate about women’s/birthing people's rights, health and advocacy.
I also currently teach to parents about labour and life with their newborn.
I have past experience as a long time Nanny and also in hospitality.
I love to enjoy life but also love to slow down to enjoy the simpler moments.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I am a graduate of Midwifery (or in Guatemala they say Comadrona) so have a lot of experience with pregnancy, birth and the period after. I have training in sexual health education as well as plenty of experience looking after children. I am also highly creative and motivated so will always put a lot of effort into any task I am given.

I love music and singing, I play the piano and flute and have a great passion for communal music. I LOVE cooking (and eating)! I enjoy theatre and comedy but mainly socialising and learning from people. I really enjoy nature, hikes, climbing and swimming! I look forward to seeing the plethora of beauty that South America has to hold.
