Description
I'm currently between jobs and looking to spend this summer in Europe diving into meaningful, hands-on experiences. I love working with my hands, getting a little dirty, and being part of something real and grounded.
I spent two incredible years living abroad in Peru as a Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene (WASH) volunteer, and I’ve also worked on two small farms—one in Nicaragua and one in Thailand—each for about a month. Those experiences taught me so much about sustainable living, hard work, and the joy of connecting with people from all walks of life.
I’m hoping to find a peaceful place with open-minded folks, good conversation, and a bit of nature—not too close to the hustle and bustle of big cities. Whether it’s gardening, building, animal care, or anything else that involves learning and teamwork, I’m all in.
Looking forward to meeting kind people and sharing some great moments this summer!Centres d’intérêt

Quelles sont vos compétences ?
I’ve been involved in various hands-on projects over the years and enjoy physical work that lets me stay active and learn by doing. I’ve worked with Habitat for Humanity helping to build a home, assisted in home construction in Mexico, and helped build a bamboo house in Thailand. I’ve also worked on two small farms—one in Nicaragua and one in Thailand—where I did general farm tasks like planting, composting, and maintenance. On the Nicaraguan farm, I was responsible for maintaining a compostable toilet system, so I’m no stranger to dirty work!
While I don’t have any formal training or certifications, I’m practical, adaptable, and eager to learn new skills. I’m comfortable with tools, enjoy working outdoors, and don’t mind getting my hands dirty. I’m happy to follow instructions, take initiative when needed, and contribute wherever I’m most useful.Âge

Autres infos...
I love playing board games and card games—some favorites are Codenames, Settlers of Catan, and Azul. I often host game nights at my place, and I’m always up for teaching a new game or learning one I’ve never played!
Hiking is one of my favorite ways to spend time outdoors, and I used to snowboard a lot in the winters. I’m also passionate about travel and love connecting with people from different cultures and backgrounds.
I’ve lived with several host families for extended periods of time, in very different cultural settings, and it’s taught me a lot about adaptability, communication, and respect. I’m very aware that everyone has their own way of doing things, and I always try to be mindful and considerate of others' preferences, routines, and ways of life.
One thing that’s important to me in a Workaway experience is finding a liberal, open-minded host. I really value mutual respect, curiosity, and a welcoming environment where everyone feels free to be themselves.Informations complémentaires
