Description

We are Coco (31) & Stella (30), a couple from Germany 🇩🇪

We are currently travelling around New Zealand and have already gained lots of hands-on experience along the way. Since starting our Workaway journey, we have looked after houses and dogs, helped with an Airbnb, worked in a plant nursery, lived with a Kiwi family and supported them with household and farm work, and worked on a calf-rearing farm.

We’ve really enjoyed becoming part of everyday life, taking responsibility and helping wherever needed. These experiences have shown us how adaptable, reliable and hands-on we are – and how much we enjoy getting involved in different environments.

Coco has over 10 years of professional experience in sales, customer relations and team leadership. Stella is a trained registered nurse with more than 8 years of experience, including 4.5 years in psychiatry. We both enjoy working with people and bring strong communication, responsibility and teamwork skills.

After finishing our New Zealand adventure, we will be travelling to Australia from September 25th 🇦🇺 and are looking for a Workaway opportunity there.

We are open-minded, easy-going and not afraid of getting our hands dirty. Whether it’s helping around the house, gardening, farm work, animals, cooking, cleaning or something completely new – we’re happy to give it a go.

Corinna is very passionate about languages. Through her travels and time abroad she has developed a strong level of English (C1), and thanks to her Latin American friends she has also built a solid foundation in Spanish (around B1). She is excited to keep improving her fluency in English and to continue expanding her Spanish skills during our travels. Stella’s native language is German, and she is currently working on becoming more confident in English. She already has a basic vocabulary and is improving step by step. We are both very happy to help others learn and practice German, and we’re always open to language exchange with hosts or other travellers.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

We are Coco and Stella – two open-minded, reliable and positive people who love meeting new people, learning new things and getting involved wherever we can help.

Since starting our journey, we have gained lots of hands-on experience in different environments. We have worked in a plant nursery for 7 weeks, on a calf-rearing farm, and lived with a Kiwi family for a month, helping with household tasks, cooking, laundry and various farm jobs such as painting fences, collecting leaves and cleaning a tractor.

We have also done house and dog sitting and helped take care of an Airbnb, including cleaning and preparing the property.

We are both happy with physical and practical work and are not afraid to get our hands dirty. We can help with gardening, cleaning, cooking, household tasks, painting, general maintenance, animal care and farm work – and we are always happy to learn something new.

We also bring plenty of experience from home with gardening, DIY, household tasks and general outdoor work.

Coco has a background in Business Administration and worked for 11 years at Geberit, most recently as a team leader. Stella is a trained registered nurse with 4.5 years of experience in psychiatric nursing, as well as previous experience in hospitality and farm work.

We are adaptable, respectful, hardworking and easy-going. We enjoy becoming part of everyday life, helping where needed and making meaningful connections with our hosts.

Autres infos...

We are both very social people who love connecting with others. Coco is a big fan of board games and is always excited to bring people together for a fun game night. Stella, on the other hand, is the one who brings the action – she loves anything adventurous and is always ready to try something new.
We both feel happiest in nature, especially around water, and we’re absolute sunset lovers – those magical moments are what we live for. We also enjoy listening to music, discovering new places, and sharing good energy with the people we meet along the way.
