Hi:) My name is Clarice and i'm 20 years old! I'm from Canada, more precisely Québec, and i speak french (main language) and english! I've just finished a two-year program in college, majoring in social sciences, and i've decided to take a few months off to travel and discover new places before starting university!

I'm super excited to work as workawayer, as it will be a new opportunity to meet new people, try new things, new foods and discover different ways of thinking! The subject of history is very interesting and important to me and it is a big part of why i love traveling. I've traveled before, but i believed that the experience of Workaway will enable me to fully immerse myself in a way of living that is different than mine!

I also really like learning new languages, meeting with people, reading, cooking and being outside in general. I'm a very open person, i'm resourceful and independent. I'm also very open, (and already excited!) for all the opportunities that might fall on my path during the next months!

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I'm a fast learner and can adapt to new situations pretty quickly! That makes me very open to learn and try new areas of expertise! I am comfortable to work along a group or even by myself.

The different jobs i've had in the past have really given me different experiences and skills.
For example, i have worked as an english tutor for children to help with things such as homework and pronunciation. I've have worked as an assistant in a hair salon, so i've become accustomed to meeting new people and learn how to manage my time. I have also worked in a restaurant with a really small team, and that really helped me learn how to work in group and how to problem-solve on the spot.

Trying new skills is always a positive experience, as i will always learn something new and create memorable moments!

(I speak french and english, and i'm open to teach either one of those language!)
