Hey you beautiful people,

hope this finds you well! I'm Clara and am ready to make some great new memories. :)

I am a warm-hearted, open-minded and creative person from Germany who loves travelling slowly, connecting with people and animals, and experiencing different ways of life around the world.

I studied psychology and currently work as an educator at a primary school, where I organize creative activities and projects with children. I also work as a dance teacher and have organized many dance and musical projects at schools over the years. Movement, creativity, music and working with people are a huge part of who I am. I love supporting children in expressing themselves creatively and building confidence through movement and art.

A few years ago I did my first Workaway on the Greek island of Skiathos, where I worked as an au pair and helped with childcare, animal care and daily life around the home. That experience completely changed the way I want to travel and experience the world. Since then I’ve fallen deeply in love with Mediterranean island life, slower living, and meaningful cultural exchange. Becoming part of a family’s everyday rhythm and connecting with local life in such a genuine way was something very special to me.

Animals are especially important to me because I grew up with dogs and cats. I genuinely love spending time with dogs and cats and have experience with dog sitting, cat sitting and house sitting. I’m calm, affectionate, responsible and attentive to animals’ needs and routines.

I also enjoy painting, decorating spaces, cooking, gardening and contributing creatively wherever I stay. I love learning from others and exchanging stories, ideas, food and cultures.

Together with my partner Timo, we now continue this journey as a couple. We are an open-minded, warm-hearted and funny team who dream of travelling the world together slowly and meaningfully.
We’ve already done several Workaway experiences together, including our last stay in Portugal, where we helped with house sitting, gardening, animal care and daily tasks around the home. We both absolutely love animals, nature and community-oriented living.

Timo has a background in hospitality and tourism and worked internationally as a tour guide. He is half Japanese, loves languages and cultural exchange, and is especially passionate about cooking authentic Japanese food for others. He also enjoys gardening, camping, nature and outdoor work.
Together we are respectful, tidy, easygoing and independent people who genuinely enjoy helping out, learning new things and creating a peaceful and positive atmosphere wherever we stay.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I have experience with:

- painting, cleaning, and helping with daily life around homes through several Workaway stays in different countries.

I studied psychology and currently work as an educator at a primary school as well as a dance teacher. I love working with children and have organized many creative dance and musical projects at schools over the years. I also worked as an au pair during my Workaway on Skiathos in Greece, which gave me valuable experience with childcare, responsibility, and adapting to a new environment and culture.

I’m a very creative, open-minded, and caring person who enjoys yoga, sports, hiking, nature, photography, gardening, cooking, and art projects. Animals are very important to me, and I have experience with both dog sitting and cat sitting. I’m calm, affectionate, responsible, and attentive to animals’ needs and routines.

I also have very good computer skills and feel comfortable with digital tasks, organization, communication, social media, and general computer work.

Together with my partner Timo, we’ve already completed several Workaway experiences, including our last stay in Portugal. We both love travelling slowly, learning about new cultures, helping around homes and gardens, and creating a positive and relaxed atmosphere wherever we stay.

I love sport, yoga, sunshine, dancing and being around people and see myself as a very social person who is empathetic and considerate.

After work I love to have a little time for myself, doing some yoga or just relaxing.

Honesty and a sense of responsibility are super important to me and I love good conversations!

I also worked as a barista in a café and I’m very comfortable with coffee making and baking — especially cakes and homemade sweet treats.
