Hey you beautiful people, hope you’re doing well! 😊

I’m Clara, a creative, open-minded and warm-hearted person from Germany who loves slow travelling, meeting new people and connecting with animals 🌿🐾

💃 My passion is dance, movement and personal development.
I love creating spaces where children and adults can express themselves, build confidence and discover their own strengths.

🎓 I studied psychology and currently work at a primary school, where I support children through creative activities, social education and meaningful experiences. I’m also a dance and sports teacher, combining creativity, movement and fun in my work with people of all ages.

🌸 In my free time, I enjoy yoga, Pilates, baking, discovering cosy cafés, gardening and creative projects.

🌍 My Workaway journey started in Greece, where I helped a family with childcare, animals and everyday life. Since then, I’ve enjoyed several amazing experiences:

🐶 Taking care of three lovely dogs in Portugal with my partner
🍱 Cooking Japanese food for a wonderful family and sharing cultural experiences
🏡 Spending three weeks in Spain doing house sitting, gardening and caring for a dog and two cats

🐕 Animals have always been close to my heart.
Growing up with dogs and cats, I truly enjoy spending time with them and creating a safe, loving and comfortable environment.

💛 I often travel together with my partner Timo, who shares my love for cultural exchange, nature and animals.

🇯🇵 Timo has a background in hospitality and tourism and works as a tour guide in Japan. Being half Japanese and bilingual, he loves sharing his culture, language and experiences with others. He is also a big dog and cat lover, enjoys cooking Japanese food, and likes helping with outdoor projects, gardening and everyday tasks.

✨ Together, we are a respectful, tidy and easygoing team who enjoy learning from others, sharing experiences and becoming part of the places we stay.
We’re looking forward to meeting new people, exchanging stories and creating beautiful memories together! 😊

I love sport, yoga, sunshine, dancing and being around people and see myself as a very social person who is empathetic and considerate.

After work I love to have a little time for myself, doing some yoga or just relaxing.

Honesty and a sense of responsibility are super important to me and I love good conversations!

I also worked as a barista in a café and I’m very comfortable with coffee making and baking — especially cakes and homemade sweet treats.
