Hi,
My name's Claire, I'm 25 and currently working in freelance with publishing houses.
I am an energetic and smiling person, with a creative mind full of imagination. I am also caring and kind, a real pet lover. In addition, I am open-minded and organised, eager to learn and discover new things as well as to share my knowledge.

I love reading and spending time indoors with my cat as much as going out with my friend for a shopping spree and a nice hot cup of tea. I also enjoy cooking, and learning new recipes, as well as going on a good walk, roller skating or cycling, or sometimes just walking my father's dogs. I have a great imagination so I am quite fond of creative activities just as much as I love playing board games (especially on rainy Sundays).

Traveling is one of the things I like the most; when it comes to discovering new things and culture I rarely say no! I am just coming back from a year in Ireland where I worked as an AuPair, and enjoyed discovering the country and its culture during my free time.
Last year I also went with a friend on a road trip around Scotland in June, followed by a trip to Iceland for a week where she currently lives.
I've been dreaming about going to Canada for years now, and I really cannot wait to be able to go there to learn more about the country and its culture.

I did a 3-year undergraduate degree and got my B.A. in English in 2019, I learned about the English language, the different Anglo-Saxon cultures, and the literature. I have a real passion for this language and have been teaching it to students, professionals, and people of all ages and backgrounds for years now aside from my main occupation. As a French native, I'm also always happy to help people get better or learn French, as I did with the Irish kids I minded for a year, the oldest having started to be really good at understanding me and getting some vocabulary to speak.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I have experience in housekeeping and petsitting, as taking care of the house was one of my requirements when I was working as an AuPair, and I've had a cat for 3,5 years now, before that we had a dog at my mom's, a westie, and my dad currently have 2 dogs (malinois) and 2 cats, pets that I've minded a lot. In the house, I have experience keeping one clean, maintaining stocks, going grocery shopping or running errands, looking after plants, as well as cooking and baking.

French is my native language but I am also completely fluent in English. I learnt Spanish in school and have some written and speaking skills in it. Finally, I have the basis in Russian, however, it is more of a hobby for the moment.

I also enjoy and can easily work with my hands if there are things to do around the house, such as build flat-pack furniture for instance.
