Hi all,
Welcome to my profile! My name is Claire Rietkerk. Im 23 years old and from the Netherlands. I just finished my studies Social Work and in september I will start with the study Cultural Anthropology which gives me untill september total freedom to go travelling and do volunteerswork.

In my gap year after high school I did volunteerswork as well in Ghana and Athens what turned out to be a life changing experience which made the decision to do volunteerswork again easy. I decided to go to Spain because I really want to learn about the Spanish culture and language. After spending 9 weeks in Spain and having a ton load of new experiences with me, I want to continue my travels. I'm not really sure yet where I will eventually end up but I would love to experience so many new things as possible and Portugual and Ireland are for example countries ive never been to.

Im an open-minded, enthousiastic, empathic, independent, social, hard working, accurately and studious person who is eager to learn from other lifestyles, believes, routines and theories. Im curious to find out which affect living the farm life and being in nature will have on me and if I will enjoy it as much as I did as an child by my grandmother on her piece of land and by camping with my family in the summer.

Since I was little I've loved animals very dearly. By my parents we always had pets. Currently they have a cat and a dog which I love so much and when I visit my parents I love to go walking with the dog in the forest. Further I started horseback riding since I was 7 years old. I also worked as a volunteer on a riding school which gave me skills in taking care of horses varied from grooming, feeding them and cleaning the stables. I really love to work with animals as they give me a warm feeling inside and I love to take care of them.

Other hobbies of mine are meditation and yoga. Spirituality is something Im curious about in combination with developing your mental health. Puzzling. meeting up with friends and spending time with family are other things I love to do in my free time. Just as having deep conversations with them and talking about social issues in society.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I just finished my studies Social Work so I know how to be a listening ear and how to support people. Also I have some experience in trainership and know how to take care of animals. Especially horses varied from grooming, feeding them and cleaning the stables.
