Currently in beautiful British Columbia and excited to explore. We love nature, especially hiking, enjoy cooking, creative projects, and connecting with others through shared activities.

Description

We are two young women from Germany who have just completed our university degrees and are now beginning an exciting new chapter of our lives in beautiful Canada.

We are calm, open-minded, love spending time in nature and getting creative through various DIY projects. We love to meet and connect with people—whether through deep conversations, sharing a laugh, or spending time together during cozy game nights or shared cooking evenings. Back in Vienna, where we studied, we loved doing these kinds of gatherings with friends and would be happy to carry on this little tradition here in Canada.

We chose to spend a year abroad in Canada because we are absolutely in love with its breathtaking nature. We enjoy hiking and can’t wait to experience our first Canadian winter—with all the new adventures and outdoor activities it offers.

When we came across Workaway, it felt like a great fit. It offers the opportunity to meet people, exchange experiences, learn from one another, and take part in a wide variety of projects. At the same time, it allows us to improve our language skills, save or earn a bit of money, and still have time to explore the amazing natural surroundings.

We’re very motivated to take on new tasks, learn new skills, and be part of meaningful projects. We're curious about the people we'll meet and look forward to the experiences that will come with it.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

We both studied nutritional sciences and gained a broad range of work experience through various part-time jobs during our studies.

Tatjana has worked in customer service, retail, healthcare, and elderly care. For the past two years, she has been working in quality management, where she developed a structured and detail-oriented way of working.

Christine also has experience in customer service, retail, healthcare, and in supporting elderly and disabled people. During the summer breaks of her studies, she worked in logistics at Daimler, where she operated forklifts and gained hands-on experience in warehouse organization and physical work.

We are both highly motivated, quick to learn, and not afraid of getting our hands dirty. We enjoy working with people, value being part of a team, and are just as comfortable outdoors as we are in creative or practical tasks.
