Description

We are a couple of backcountry sea kayaking guides from Alaska traveling to New Zealand to explore the trekking trails, coastlines, communities, and wilderness. We have over 8 years of combined experience in outdoor and classroom education, working with kids from kindergarten to high school. We love playing outside, cooking and baking, a good game of cards, and meeting new friends. We'll be attending nursing school in the fall of 2024 and are very excited to spend the first part of the new year on a New Zealand adventure.

We love water and ocean sports of all kinds. We'd love to become better surfers and would love any opportunity to learn more about surfing from our hosts. We're avid readers and love sharing and receiving book recommendations. We really enjoy board games and card games--we always travel with a few favorites to share.
