Description

We are a couple of nurses from Alaska traveling to Japan for our honeymoon! We are very excited to explore trekking trails, coastlines, communities, cultural sites and wilderness. We have over 8 years of combined experience in outdoor and classroom education, working with kids from kindergarten to high school. We have just finished nursing school and are taking a few months off around our wedding in April to travel before we start our new jobs as RNs. We love playing outside, cooking and baking, a good game of cards, and meeting new friends. We currently live in Sitka, Alaska and would love to host workawayers of our own when we return home.

We love water and ocean sports of all kinds. We'd love to become better surfers and would love any opportunity to learn more about surfing from our hosts. We're avid readers and love sharing and receiving book recommendations. We really enjoy board games and card games--we always travel with a few favorites to share.
