Description
I am on a long term sabbatical leave with my job in France (professor at University of Lyon in management sciences)
I have been volunteering full time for five years in different countries (Sri Lanka, Nepal, Crete, Slovenia, Ireland, Sicilia…)
When I am not Workaway helping, I travel far away by bicycle : Europe, Central Asia until Mongolia, Australia, New Zeland, USA,
Even though I used to have an « intellectual » work, I have always been very found of handycraft, which I practiced when I had my own house and also working recently with my nephew who is a professional house builder and fixer.
Nowadays I am waiting for new experiences wherever I can be helpful.

We really enjoyed to host Christopher in our project. He was a big help with many tasks.
Our kids of 9 & 10 loved to be around him. He was helping the kids to improve French too.
He will have always our doors open.

Cris stayed one week with me in Salemi. I wish he could have stayed longer. He was confident in his work and guided me in some of our projects. I spent 2 weeks with Christina and Eric, another man staying and working there. With Eric, we worked mainly on the roof of the house to change tiles and put new ones. Heavy work since about 2000 tiles have been removed and new ones have been carried up to the roof by hand.
