Hello,

my name is Chiara, I am 24 years old and come from near Stuttgart, Germany.

I am currently finishing my studies and would love to take the opportunity to travel before starting my professional career. Through Workaway, I hope to discover new places, experience different cultures, meet inspiring people, and improve my English while becoming part of everyday life in a new environment.

Horses have been a big part of my life for many years and working with them is one of the main reasons why I am excited about joining Workaway. During several summers, I worked at a riding stable that offered riding holidays for children and teenagers. My responsibilities included helping with riding lessons, accompanying trail rides, caring for the horses, feeding and grooming them, mucking out stalls, and supporting the daily work around the stable. Through this experience, I became comfortable with physical work, taking responsibility, and working as part of a team.

Besides my experience with horses, I have also worked with children, both at the riding stable and in an after-school care program. These experiences taught me patience, responsibility, and how important it is to create a positive and supportive environment for others.

I would describe myself as reliable, responsible, open-minded, and easy-going. At first, I can be a little reserved in a new environment, but once I feel comfortable, I am a friendly and sociable person who enjoys meeting new people and being part of a team. I enjoy learning new skills, taking on challenges, and helping wherever I am needed.

In my free time, I love staying active. I enjoy horseback riding, running, going to the gym, and spending time outdoors. I also enjoy reading and spending time with friends and family. I am a positive person who enjoys meaningful conversations, shared experiences, and getting to know people from different backgrounds.

I have held a driver’s license since 2019 and feel confident driving. German is my native language, and although I am still working on becoming more fluent in spoken English, I am highly motivated to improve through everyday conversations and new experiences abroad.

I am looking forward to meeting new people, learning from different cultures, contributing wherever I can, and creating unforgettable memories along the way. I would be very happy to become part of your daily life and help with your project.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I have been riding horses for many years and I feel very comfortable around them. I have experience with daily stable work, including grooming, feeding, mucking out stalls, leading horses and general horse care. I enjoy spending time with animals and I am always willing to learn new skills and different ways of working with horses.

Besides my horse experience, I have worked with children at a riding stable during holiday camps and also in an after-school care program. These experiences taught me responsibility, patience and teamwork.

I am physically fit, enjoy working outdoors and am not afraid of hard work. I am reliable, organized and always happy to help wherever I am needed. I also have a driver’s license and can adapt quickly to new situations.
