Hi,
I am Charlotte, 29 years old from Belgium.
In Belgium i worked as a social worker in youth care wich i really enjoyed doing. I did miss the feeling of getting out of my comfort zone and experience new countries, cultures, other ways of living, myself,… . That’s why i decided to travel Central and South America for a year.
Workaway seems a great way to travel slow, develop new skills, get inspired by an amazing project/ dream of a host, meeting new wonderful people and settle in for a bit longer.
I am very excited to contribute to a goal and learn more.

I followed Spanish school in Guatemala. My Spanish is not at the level i want it to be. A goal in my trip is to learn Spanish/ be able to fully express myself. If i can learn more during my stay, that would be great. Note that English is not my mothertongue and i am no teacher. I am fluent though and worked/ volunteered with childeren. If i can be off any assistance in teaching i would be happy to.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?
I studied psychology and worked in social sector, i love hearing people’s story and getting inspired by others.
Apart from my job I also gave body oriented psychotherapy , how body and mind work together interests me.
I just love animals, it would be a dream if i can contribute in a way in animal welfare.
I have no previous experience in gardening, construction,..
i am interested in learning these skills. I believe i am a fast learner with tons of enthousiasm and a hands on person.
It would be great to contribute in some physical work.
I did thaibox for a long time and was very engaged as a volunteer for our non profit thaiboxclub.

The food is amazing, she has a lot of life experience to share and is super open to involve you into her daily life.
