Hi, my name is Charlotte (or Charlie) and I'm 22 years old and from Munich, Germany!
I'm currently at university studying English and I have decided to do my stay abroad (around 8 weeks or longer) via workaway.
I have already done workaway in 2019, where I stayed at a stud farm in Ireland near Dublin and I absolutely loved it so now I'd like to do something similar!
I would love to stay at farms because I really love animals, especially cats, dogs, horses and cows.
I'm planning to start my journey in February and I'm going to have to return to Germany in April. I'm really excited to make some trips and see some of the landscape, nature and cities and I'm looking forward to meet new people.
I'm a calm and gentle person and I'm very open-minded and curious and ready to try as many new things as possible.
My hobbies are reading, drawing and DIY and I also like to go for walks, watch series or movies and spend time with my friends. I also did horseback riding for a long time because I adore horses and I love spending time with them, that's why I would love to stay at some place with horses!

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

In 2019 at the farm I stayed I took care of the dogs, I sometimes went for walks and fed them, but I mostly helped taking care of the horses. I helped with feeding them, bringing them outside in the mornings and back inside in the evenings, I mucked out the stables, etc. I'm not an expert but I am a quick learner and I don't hesitate to get my hands dirty or to do physical work ;)
I really like to spend time with animals and that's why I've been doing horseback riding until like 2 years ago.
Of course I can also help doing housework or some maintenance around the house!

I'd also really like to learn about your culture like traditions, food, etc. and I would be very happy, if I could get the opportunity do some horseback riding if possible!
In conclusion I would just like to have an unforgettable stay and a fun time and to make as many new experiences as possible!
