Hey ! My name is Cerys and I’m currently on my gap year and really loving my freedom and finding new challenges to overcome. I love animals and children and really just want to take this time for self improvement and also experience some wonderful new cultures that travelling gives me the opportunity to witness. Seeing beautiful sites and meeting new people is what travelling is all about and I love being immersed in new ways of life. I love Europe and so my dream is to travel to as many places in European countries, whether that be big cities or small towns, anything to widen my horizons. I would also love to visit South America one day to help improve my Spanish dialects as well as just experiencing the amazing culture over there. I live in a very small village in the county of Kent in England and I love talking to other people about what living in England is really like as I always find it really fun to compare things you think are the norm in your country to others in theirs.

I am studying Teaching English as a Foreign Language and so I would definitely love to put some of it into practice as well as simply opening up young people to the English culture. I studied Spanish at both GCSE and A Levels in the UK so I’m always looking to improve my Spanish speaking and understanding.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I have been a lifeguard for almost 3 years and so I have an up-to-date NPLQ, first aid and AED [defibrillator] training as well as experience working with children and in customer service. I love sports especially rugby which is a huge part of English culture so I love to share my knowledge of the sport and my experience playing. I’m also currently studying a diploma in Teaching English as a Foreign Language which has helped me develop skills with children and the classroom. I’m very organised and really love a plan so if you need a hard working, dedicated and time savy person, I’m your girl.
