Description

As a child I used to daydream a lot about the places i saw on the map, from city to city and everything in between, alongside making up stories of what people would experience. Giving room for this curiosity by traveling, seeing different corners of the world, making memories and forming bonds with people all over the world, keeps on lighting the excitement of a child in me.

The opportunities to learn and grow as a person keep me feeling fulfilled. Wether it is dancing, languages, camping, a night out or skydiving. I rarely say no to an opportunity to learn a new skill or try out a new activity.

Languages are the best way to connect more with the people I meet and learn about the country I am in. I would love to learn at least the basics of the countries I visit. And have the goal to become fluent in Spanish.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

For customer facing rolls I have a lot of relevant experience. This comes from having worked extensively in retail, while studying retail management and a customer service (contact with customers and partners via email and phone in English and Dutch). Hospitality roles, both in fine dining restaurants and bars, mainly bartending (including cocktails) with some waiting, dishwashing, food running. And the odd shift as barback and extra hands in the kitchen for food prep.

Currently I am following a course for Digital Marketing, I have access to a database with skills for everything from web development and funnels, seo, copywriting, social media marketing etc. My niche is in responsible/sustainable travel, and I am keen to improve and expand my skillset and put it to good use.

Furthermore, I have lived on a farm for a year with chickens, horses, goats, horses and pigs. Here I have helped out looking after the animals by feeding them, giving them love and attention and cleaning up. I have looked after dogs before, feeding, and walking them with a good belly rubbing afterwards. And I have done some basic garden maintenance such as cleaning the grass from in between tiles, raking leaves, trimming bushes etc.

I can painting walls (one color) and am able to use hammers, screwdrivers, saws and such as I have used these in moving with tasks as assembling and disassembling furniture, hanging up shelfs, and school projects (in a few months I've spend on a technical study).

Music has great value to me, back home I have played cello and piano. And I love dancing, despite being in desperate need of lessons ;). I enjoy spending time in nature with hiking and camping. And am learning the programming language Python in my free time.
