Hello everyone! It is very nice to meet you :)

I'm Caro, a 33-year-old Chilean living in Berlin and I am travelling with my friend and colleague Josi (34, German). We are travelling through Africa for 3 months and have fallen in love with the people and landscapes of this continent. We wanted to take the opportunity to work closely with the local communities and give some of our time to interesting and thoughtful projects!

Josi studied Meteorology and Computer Science, and she is now leading a team of Software Engineers. I studied Sociology and worked on several poverty alleviation projects early in my career. My journey has shifted a little and now I am working in a Berlin-based start-up leading the Customer Success team (it is not as interesting as it might sound!)

Based on our recent experiences, we are eager to make a valuable contribution by actively participating in local communities. We have a wide range of skills and interests, including DIY projects like painting, building, and restoration, as well as teaching languages such as English, Spanish, and German. Additionally, we enjoy gardening, cooking, and (especially) taking care of animals.

Caro: I have worked in many volunteer programs before and I can help with a lot of admin work. I also have lots of experience in hospitality and tourism.

Josi: I am a Software Engineer so I can help you with several tech projects! But I am also a great cook and I can help with DIY projects or building things!
