Hey! My name is Carolin, I'm 23 years old and I'm from a small village in southern Germany and want to see more of the world and make new experiences.
Currently I am in Canada on a working holiday. The plan was to do that in 2020 but it wasn't possible due to covid, so I'm all the happier now that it finally worked out.
I wanted to visit Canada ever since we talked about the country at school and I am fascinated by the amazing nature.
I am a very openminded person and want to learn more about life in Canada and meet new people. Even though I am already very self-reliant, I still want to grow personally with this adventure and become more self-confident.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

In Germany, I work at a bank and take care of customers and their concerns everyday.
German is my first language and my english is also on a decent level. At school, I learnt french, too. But since I haven‘t spoken french in the last five years I have forgotten a lot and it would probably take some time to get back into it. On top of that, I just started to learn Italian.
I help my grandparents with different things in their house and garden. Painting the balcony, mowing the lawn, planting, watering and harvesting vegetables or just spending some time with them and taking them out for lunch.
I also help as a waitress at festivals in my village or take care of the bar at my friends parties and serve drinks.
I love kids and am glad whenever I can look after my cousin‘s children but they don‘t live near enough to do that regularly.
Here in Canada I already gained some working experience on a farm, where I picked mostly apples but also vedgetables, did some baking with our own products and helped with general work around the farm.
