Hi I'm Jamie!

Currently based between Scotland and Northern Ireland, I'm an outdoor ed instructor, community art worker, folk musician and climber. I work mostly with groups of children and adults with varying abilities and needs, teaching them to climb, canoe and running music sessions with them.

I'm very into folk music and am often found singing.
I do a lot of rock climbing, a lot of hiking and a lot of swimming in the sea; being in nature is absolutely my happy place.
I used to make musical instruments and I am pretty good with woodworking/carpentry skills.
I like being in the sunshine, being crafty and using my hands, gardening, chatting with people, making new friends, and playing lots of games. I'm also interested in languages and am currently learning to speak Italian.

My next adventures are: a via ferrata trip in the Italian Dolomites, a climbing trip to the Anti-Atlas Mountains in Morocco, and long-term a big move to New Zealand.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I used to work making musical instruments and so am quite crafty with woodworking skills.
I have done a lot of work with children in different settings, working with a wildlife conservation charity, in community music settings and as a climbing instructor.
I am experienced in outdoor skills and regularly go hiking, rock climbing, swimming and cycling.
Recently I have been learning to speak Italian and I'm really enjoying it.
