Hello!

I'm Carmen, a 31 years old Dutchie.

For the past five years, I’ve been working on a therapeutic farm with young people in mental health care. We work closely with horses, in a respectful and animal-friendly way. Before that, I spent several months working on farms in Australia, where I helped with cows and horses, basic medical care for animals, and building fences. I also helped with rounding up cattle — something I really enjoyed!

Between those two periods, I worked in the healthcare sector, both in a hospital and with people with (intellectual) disabilities. These jobs taught me a lot about caring for others and adjusting to different situations.

I really enjoy being outside, especially with animals.My calm and respectfull energy fits well around animals, like cows and horses. Whether it’s taking care of animals, fixing things, or other tasks — I like to help out where I can.

I’ve also done yoga, meditation, and family constellation work over the years. I’ve volunteered at a permaculture festival and feel connected to simple, sustainable, and conscious living.

In my free time, I like singing, playing guitar, cooking, bouldering/climbing and being outdoors. I used to climb, have my own family horse who I ride bitless with a western treeless saddle and we do natural horsemanship and love spending time in nature together.

I was staying in Mallorca on a beautiful farm, where I learned about Parelli. And I'm available from januari. I’m open for staying in different places, but if I find the right spot, I’d be happy to stay longer.

I have experience in social work and as a doctor’s assistant, and I’m comfortable connecting with people from all walks of life. I’ve cared for a variety of animals — including horses, cows, chickens, rabbits, dogs, and more — and have worked on several farms doing animal care, feeding, and basic medical tasks.

I enjoy cooking, light gardening, cleaning, animal care and horse riding. I’m practical, hands-on, and happy to help wherever needed!
