Hello, it's a pleasure to meet you!

I go by the name Berber, but if that's a tongue twister, feel free to call me Bibi. I'm 29 years old and call the Netherlands my home. By profession, I've worked as a digital/event marketer at a craft beer brewery and now i work as a Sales consultant at a digital marketing agency. While I learn a great deal at work, my real education comes from exploring the world.

I thrive on getting my hands dirty, love connecting with people, and relish the opportunity to make new acquaintances. My travels have taken me to various corners of the globe, where I've often lent a helping hand as a volunteer. One memorable experience was an internship at an orphanage in Sulawesi, where I assisted underprivileged children in securing scholarships for their education. It's all about contributing to a brighter future – that's my guiding principle.

Standing still isn't my style; I crave movement, I crave life. This is why I've embraced Workaway – it's the perfect platform to merge my passions, beliefs, and ambitions. I'm eager to see where this journey leads and what enriching experiences lie ahead.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

Over the years, I’ve built a strong foundation in marketing and business development. In my current role as a Sales Consultant at an online marketing agency, I focus on building client relationships, identifying growth opportunities, and advising businesses on their digital strategy. I work closely with marketing specialists, which has given me solid insight into areas such as online campaigns, branding, and social media.

I’m social, proactive, and confident in communication, and I thrive in team environments. I naturally think in solutions and enjoy taking initiative. Additionally, I’ve completed a photography course, so I’m comfortable working with a camera and creating visual content when needed.

Throughout the years, I’ve had a variety of jobs — from working in retail to being a farm worker — which has made me adaptable and hands-on. I genuinely enjoy practical work and being physically active, while at the same time I’m comfortable working on a computer and familiar with different digital tools and programs.

I’m motivated to keep developing myself and to explore my talents beyond my professional career. In marketing and sales, I know where my strengths lie, but through volunteering I hope to discover new skills, challenge myself in different environments, and contribute meaningfully to a wide range of projects.

I played football for many years, almost 20 years. However, I have since stopped and shifted my focus more towards fitness. I also enjoy meditating and try to provide myself with as much healthy food as possible, although I am a true chocolate lover. I love walking and taking photos. I enjoy listening to music; I have a record player at home and a strong preference for Spanish music. Beautiful clothing, interior styling, discovering new places, and listening to the sounds of nature always make me very happy. Life is so beautiful, and I would love to see the sunrise every morning if I could.
