I have no specific trade training; however, I am an expert log chopper;) I can also clean, cook, and work in any garden. I enjoy physical labour and am keen to learn new crafts.

I am a big outdoor enthusiast and have a decent level of experience of hiking, wild-camping and kayaking having spent a lot of my young life in Norway.

I’m currently working part-time at an adventures centre outside Edinburgh helping instruct archery, quad-biking and
highland games for various interesting clientele!
I also work at immersion camps in Argentina teaching kids English. my girlfriend Lucy does the same in Switzerland. aswell as coaches kids in skiing

As a Norwegian, I have spent three seasons at a hikers lodge in Langsua Natural Park in Norway where I looked after and advised hikers of all abilities to find their feet, enjoy the Tundra and have wonderful adventures to return to a hearty meal and warm fire!

I have decided to take one year out to travel and experience as much as possible before I decide what should be my vocation in life.

Benjamin and Lucy were a pleasure to host! They were hard working, helped us with many different things, and shared lots of good times with us. They embraced our lifestyle, helped us loads in the garden and with the animals, and they were especially great with our children. We loved having them here, and hope they come back to visit us again.

Me and Lucy stayed with Enrique, Tamara and the kids for 10 days, we got a real glimpse of what goes on and what it takes to run a ranch with a whole plethora of different animals (aswell as kids ;). ) we had such a great time here we can’t thank you enough.

Lucy and I traveled the south of Argentina in the month of August and ended up staying with Rosie for two weeks.

Benji and Lucy stayed for two weeks and were extremely helpful in tidying up the flower garden to leave it ready for spring flowers. Luckily, the weather was sunny the first week, but then we had a lot of rain, which stopped some activities.

My stay at Le moulin was blissfully. Nico and Mel are such an inspirational, hardworking and funny duo. I and some other Workawayer a got to prepare firewood for the winter which I love and also learnt lots about gardening. here lives the whole animal kingdom so come help if you like animals;).

This was my first workaway experience and it could not have been better! I felt so welcomed by the whole family. I helped to feed and exercise the horses and clean the stables.
