I am a 26-year-old young woman, just coming to, almost, the end of a college journey that I have been dragging along, with less and less energy, as I did not feel I was in the right place to do the right thing. I have been studying Spanish and Portuguese Languages and Literatures, and I think I will write my thesis on the road. What I hope to find, or at least get close to, in these experiences with Workaway is a rebalancing with what I am and like to do and especially with time and the management of it. We live with more and more societal pressures with respect to the passage of time and what society expects you to do at a certain age. I always thought I cared little but living in a society affects you and sucks you in. I hope to "heal" from these toxic sides, discover desires and passions, and have the opportunity to meet people different from me, from whom I can learn ways of looking at the world different from my own and from those I have met along my Road.
I appreciate the simple things in life: a sunset, good food, laughter, nature around me, and stoned together a few songs represent my perfect evening. I love cooking Italian food and doing it for others. I would like to be able to learn more about what is related to the holistic world, especially the uses of plants as medicines. I like manual and creative work, so I let my creative side flow in creating handmade jewelry with unusual uses and made with the energy of stones. I love doing yoga and meditation.
As a language student, I also enjoy working with people and having an experience in a hostel so I can improve and test my language skills.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I love to cook, especially dishes from my homeland, southern Italy.
I am a fairly practical person, and I learn I like very quickly.
I speak several languages and especially improve very quickly by listening, so I would like to work in contact with tourists, in a hostel for example.
As well as I could teach, children and more.
