Hello, my name is Barbora, I am 18 years old but I’ll be 19 at the time of my travel. I’ll finish high school ( with major social care) at the end of may this year. And after that I’ll be taking a gap year. I’m from Czech republic where I was borned and raised :)

I’ve already used Workaway last summer when I was in Ireland and I loved it! That’s why I would love to travel to Canada for 6 months and then travel around Europe and explore the world and just generally learn more about life, improve my english and meet and learn about people and their cultures. I am hard working and not afraid to get my hands dirty. I am eager to try and learn about new things.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I’ve been riding and working with horses since i was 6 and for the past 6 years it’s mostly been work with young horses and ponies. I’m familiar with stable work and what it takes to take care of horses.

While studying I have a part time job as a cashier at grocery store.

I am studying social care in high school (yes, I know it’s unusual to study specific major at high school but in Czech it’s normal☺️) where i have practical exams in retirement home and where i get to work and learn about people with disability and children etc. Which means i am very patient and have great empathy. I love helping people that need it the most ( which also very much applies for animals that I love more than people :)
