Description

My name is Astrid and I am 54 years young. My motto is 'Carpe Diem' (seize the day). I try to follow my heart as much as possible. That is how I live my life.

Since 2013 I have been travelling a lot and I love it. The last few years (before Covid) I have been combining travelling with work. For me working abroad makes travelling so much more fun. It really gives an extra dimension to getting to know a country; somehow you get to know it in a different way. Besides that, I am not the type that can relax all day and do nothing, so I like filling part of the days with work.

How can I help?
I could help you with jobs in or around the house/garden/kitchen or maintenance work.
I love animals (small & big), so I could help taking care of them.
I have worked as a tourist guide in several countries (for a travel agency) and as a receptionist in a hostel, so if you run a hostel, guesthouse etc. I could be of help too.
I could design your website if you want.
I could help you with your administration.
There are probably a lot of other jobs I could help you with, just let me know.

Who am I?
In short I can tell you that I am a hard worker, responsible, loyal, social, creative and flexible. I believe in honesty and respect for every living creature. I am open minded and a born optimist. I am also sporty, strong and I even have a sense of humor ;-)

I am selfemployed (mainly webdesign) , so I can decide myself when or how long I want to travel.

I studied International Management (University of Applied Sciences) and I have done the following jobs: Customer Service Manager, Sales Service Manager, Purchasing & Logistic Manager and European Product Manager.
Tourist guide.
Since 2007 I am self employed, so I can travel whenever I want ;-)
Since two years I have been focusing on webdesign, because I really like designing websites and I can do this everywhere in the world.
