Hi!
We are Asia and Gianluca, an Italian couple 26 and 28 y/o.
We're from Rimini, a touristic city on the coast, where our family live.

We decided to move in Australia last year, and we couldn't take better decision cause that allow us to visit a lot of nation around the Southern Asia continent (Thailandia-Malesya-Singapore-Indonesia-China), and have a direct approach with the locals culture, religion and nature.
That changed our mindset: we want to live fully, collect experiences and enjoy every moment!

-About us

ASIA: I grew up on my grandparent's farm, taking care of animals and gardening, enjoyed hands-on work and being in nature.
I studied at an Art school and I'm passionate about painting, tattoos and everything related creativity!!
Fitness addicted: I regularly practice Pilates, Yoga and I'm in love with surf.

GIANLUCA: Since when I was a child I grew up with motorcycle race passion and I use to train whenever it's possibile!
I'm not a professional athlete, but I organize my days to switch up gym workouts , running sessions and swimming in the pool.
I love the sun, easy things and the good vibes..

As a couple, we can work well together but are also independent and flexible in our tasks. We would bring positive energy and empathy always respecting other people's rules and culture of course.
Always positive to be helpful wherever needed!

We are looking for a Workaway experience to collect amazing memories, making new friends all round the world. Even we are so courious to learn new languages and improve our food culture exchange cause we try to be good home chef (Asia is good to make home made pasta!).

Can't wait to meet you and turn our time together into amazing memories!

We are interested in language exchange and learning new languages, especially through daily life and cultural interaction. We are native Italian speakers and we can communicate well in English. We are happy to help with basic Italian conversation if needed, and we are very motivated to learn and practice the local language during our stay. We believe language learning is an important part of cultural exchange and we enjoy learning through real-life situations rather than formal lessons.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

We both have strong experience in hospitality, having worked in cafés, bars and restaurants. We have familiarity to customer service, teamwork, fast-paced environments.

Asia used to work for last 7/8 years mainly like barista, waitress, kitchen hand and receptionist. All this tasks are very common in our place.
She gains experience even with housekeeping, cleaning, gardening in some resorts in Australia;
Pet lover and taking care of it!🐾


Gianluca was a business owner of a cafe' in Rimini; ☕️Coffee culture routine lover, he's been cocktails bartender in beach bars during summer seasons.
Worked as pizza chef, waitress and receptionist restaurant.
Even he has practical experience in construction and home maintenance (general repairs, basic electrical work, manual labour).
Comfortable using tools.

📸We are able to manage -social media- (Instagram/Tiktok/Facebook), as we both used to create content for Gianluca's ex business: dynamic reels, focused post and video making skills gained from CupCut, , PicsArt, Photoshop, (..)


We are flexible, reliable and quick learners. We don’t mind getting our hands dirty and we are happy to help wherever needed, following instructions and routines carefully.
