Hi!

I’m Arefeh but call me Ari, 19, Iranian but currently living in the UK.

I love traveling , learning about different cultures, and connecting with people in meaningful ways. I find myself a better person when I have purpose in my travels, and I really enjoy helping, teaching, and learning along the way.

making mistakes too, something I truly now accept, as throughout my solo travel made many ( MUCHO). I have learned to just be accept the moment move on and enjoy even if it's stressful or something not pleasent. 😿😿😻

I teach yoga and English back at home, and I especially love working with children learning from them and sharing knowledge with them brings me joy. I’m adaptable, open-minded, and love contributing to projects where I can make a real difference, whether it’s helping on a farm, with animals, or in a community setting.

What motivates me most is growth and meaningful connection, and I find happiness in being part of a team, exploring new environments, and creating positive experiences for others. I’m excited to meet hosts and fellow volunteers who share a sense of adventure, creativity, and openness.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

📚I have experience teaching yoga and English to people of all ages and backgrounds, from refugees to community members, including individuals from Sudan, Ukraine, and Iran. I love working with children and adults, creating meaningful and engaging learning experiences, and adapting my approach to different needs and cultures.

☕️I also have experience working in hospitality as a café barista, which has strengthened my teamwork, reliability, and communication skills.

🏔️Including my hostel volunteering experience in Alpujarras, where I welcomed guests, cleaned, turnover of beds and etc. you know hostel management 😽

🌴🪵Last year, I solo traveled in Southeast Asia, volunteering in Thailand on a farm, helping with harvesting, building mud houses, composting, and teaching English in Vietnam.


🇮🇳 🧘🏻‍♀️I also completed an intensive yoga teacher training in India, and it was life changing especially at the age of 18...

🐪🏜️In Morocco, I was part of a small project in the Sahara where we worked as a team making clay bricks, building a bench, and helping with a water well. It was very very very simple living , but very real working with the earth, being outdoors all day, and creating something together

🐕⛰️As well as in the north of Morocco, taking care of dogs going for walkies, washing them, showing love and affection in a dog rescue centre. It was truly my highlight of ALL.


I’m adaptable, enjoy challenges, and thrive in new environments. I bring friendliness, kindness, and love to every project, and I’m excited to contribute my skills while learning from hosts and fellow volunteers.

I practice Muay Thai back 🥊at home which is so empowering especially as a 19 year old girl.

🧘🏻‍♀️ Yoga of course, sometimes my practice can be 2 minutes of breathing or sometimes it's 1 hour of Ashtanga, but most importantly listening to mind, body and soul. As everything is interconnected:)


I enjoy walking a lot, it may not be a typical hobby but it is a place for me reflect and meditate with the nature .
