We have become immensely interested in permaculture & building ecological systems that thrive in harmony with nature's cycles. We want to grow our own food with care and intention & improve the soil

Description

In February 2020 we set out in our van to find our dream future, a farmstead somewhere in nature where we could live self-sufficiently and free, committing more of our life energy to what makes us happy and focussing less on what makes us feel heavy.

We want to follow our passions, bring our art and music into the world and live a self-determined life by going beyond the norms of the society we came from, finding and internalizing better ways to live with nature and society in these challenging times.

In all these years we have found tremendous friends, new experiences and an immense growth in ourselves for which we will be forever grateful. We have yet to find that place to settle down but van life has changed us for the better and we give thanks.

Now, after four and a half years Bulgaria, Montenegro, Albania, Greece, Turkey, Georgia and Italy we are ready to leave for our next journey - embodying all that we learned along the way to find the next place where life wants us. The place where we can grow high-vibing food, and work on our arts and passions that we wish to gift to the world and to ourselves.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

We are proficient media creators, working with blogging, digital art, music and video to utilize the internet and cyberspace in a way to spread important ideas and concepts far and wide. We also enjoy sharing our knowledge with other people keen to find their own way.

We have experience in service and customer related activities such as working in a major youth hostel, kindergarden and as waiters in bars,talking to English language customers on the phone. Pretty much anything where we can lend a hand to new people arriving to make them feel welcome.

We have enormous theoretical knowledge about permaculture principles and techniques, and wish to move on to the practical side with a garden we can use to grow food with intention, and cook amazing dishes with the produce. Constantly travelling in a van no longer enriches us as we have largely outgrown it, both internally and externally. And so finding a garden patch of our own will be one of the next steps on our journey, as gardening can balance our media activities and brings us great satisfaction - something we discovered along our housesits in these past years.

We love learning new things that interest us and as a result are fast learners, especially when it includes unorthodox skills and competencies.
