At the end of April, I would like to travel through eastern Canada, from Quebec to Halifax, then through Nova Scotia, with a visit to PE Island and perhaps also Newfoundland and Labrador.

Hi everybody! :)

Currently I am looking for a host in Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island or Newfoundland for the last weeks of April 2026..

I arrived in Canada in August and have gained a lot of experience and learned many new skills, which I may could support you with:
Through wwoofing, for example, I have planted and harvested fruit and vegetables, looked after alpacas, dogs, and cats, pruned blackberry bushes, and painted the front of the horse stable, etc.
At a sled dog station in the Yukon, I took care of the dogs (preparing food, cooking meat, equipping the dogs for the run, etc.) and helped with preparations for winter (raking leaves, mowing the lawn, chopping firewood, etc.).
I also worked at a veterinary clinic for 3.5 months, where I learned and saw many new things.
I am familiar how to work with multimedia/entertainment systems and can, for example, equip televisions with new soundbars and Bluetooth headphones and mount them on the wall.
Photography is one of my favorite pastimes, and I am familiar with social media platforms such as Instagram and Facebook.
Some of my host (retiered man) told me I should write that I am a good person to have arround and keep company with (accompanying older people). ;-)

In Germany I own a van and made some really great experiences in Skandinavia and would like to build on this experience to get more contact with locals and learn more about their culture and way of life.
I also love being outdoors and experiencing nature during hikes.
My job is a mechanical engineer and I was working in my 9 to 5 office job in electrical industry.
In my spare time I like sports, like playing handball, swimming and also coach a group of girls aged 12 - 14. I really enjoy working with the girls because I see how they progress and grow, which makes me feel the efford I put in is really worth it.

It is also important to me to stand up for values such as solidarity, equality, feminism and sustainability.

I would prefer to do work where I can see progress as I work and where I feel that my work could really have an impact on my environment.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I can offer my hands-on mentality and open mindset. Organization and office skills are part of my daily work so I have good experience with administration tasks. Also working in the outdoors like gardening or do some painting f.e. is fine for me. I would be also good in teaching and explanation, like working with children regarding my sport coaching experince with the girls (perfer, kids already in age for schooling) and activ workshops.
Regular house duties, like, cooking, cleaning or doing the laundry.
I would also say I have kind of a positive attitude and enthusiasm for interacting with people, also good communication skills and a friendly and helpful manner to work with other colleagues.
I would prefer to do practical work where I can see progress as I work and where I feel that my work could really have an impact on my surroundings/environment.
I am also eager to learn any kind of other skills.
